The short version: SocialQ is a Mac app you buy once and run on your own computer. It reads posts from your Google Drive folder and publishes them to your Instagram account only after you approve them, using connections and API keys you provide. Your files and keys stay on your computer, and what you post is your responsibility.

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Questera Marketing ("we", "us") covering the SocialQ desktop application and the socialq.questera.ai website. By purchasing, downloading or using SocialQ you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use SocialQ.

2. License

A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SocialQ.
Activation uses a license key issued to your purchase email, confirmed with a one-time code sent to that email. A license is active on one computer at a time; you can move it to another computer yourself (moves are limited to twice in any 30 days — contact support if you need more).
One license covers unlimited Instagram accounts and workspaces on that computer.
New installs include a 7-day free trial (email only, no payment details); after it ends the app locks until activated with a valid license key.
You may use SocialQ for commercial work, including managing client accounts you are authorized to manage. You may not resell, rent, sublicense, publish or redistribute the app or license keys.

3. Local operation — your device, your data, your responsibility

SocialQ runs on your own computer. Its settings, queue, and the API keys you enter are stored on your own device.
We do not keep copies of your posts, media or captions (see the Privacy Policy for the narrow licensing exceptions).
You are responsible for your computer, its storage, keeping it awake or allowing it to wake when posts are due, backing up files you care about, and securing your machine and your keys. We are not responsible for data stored on your device or in your own Google Drive, nor for its loss, corruption or deletion.
SocialQ moves finished post folders within your Google Drive (into "Posted" or "Failed") and renames folders when you reschedule. Keep your own backups of anything you can't afford to lose.

4. Approval, scheduling and publishing

SocialQ publishes only posts you (or someone or something you have given access to, such as an AI assistant connected through SocialQ's connector) have approved. You are responsible for every post you approve, including its media, caption, audio and timing.
Unapproved posts are marked Missed at their scheduled time and are not published late on their own. Approved posts may be published up to 4 hours late if your computer was asleep, and are otherwise held as Missed.
Publishing depends on your computer being on and connected, and on third-party services (Composio, Instagram/Meta, Google Drive and any optional services you add) being available. We don't guarantee that any post will be published, or published at an exact time.

5. Your content and acceptable use

Your posts and media are yours. We claim no rights over them.
Only publish content you own or are authorized to use — including any music you add to reels. Adding a song in SocialQ does not license it; you are responsible for having the rights to it.
You must comply with Instagram's and Meta's terms and policies, Google's terms for Google Drive, and the terms of any other service you connect. Don't use SocialQ to publish unlawful, infringing or misleading content, or to spam.
Don't attempt to break, forge or circumvent the licensing system.

6. Purchases, pricing and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may change without notice.
Since a 7-day free trial lets you evaluate everything before buying, purchases are generally final — but if something's wrong, email support@questera.ai and we'll make it right.

7. Requirements & third-party services

SocialQ requires a supported Mac (Apple Silicon or Intel); there is no Windows version. It needs an Instagram Business or Creator account and your own Composio API key — Composio handles the connections to Instagram and Google Drive. Optional features use a Resend API key (email alerts) and Cloudflare R2 (media hosting). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and any costs are billed to you by them. SocialQ is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, Instagram, Google, Composio, Resend, Cloudflare, Apple, or any AI provider.

8. Disclaimer

SocialQ is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Third-party platforms change their features and rules, and features that depend on them (such as trial reels, which Instagram only offers to accounts meeting its requirements) may stop working or behave differently. We don't guarantee reach, views, engagement, or fitness for a particular purpose. Review your posts before approving them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to SocialQ is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including missed, late or failed posts, actions taken by third-party platforms on your accounts, loss of data, or loss of business.

10. Termination

We may terminate a license that materially breaches these terms (for example, license-key abuse or redistribution). You can stop using SocialQ at any time; sections 3, 8 and 9 survive.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address with its date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the app will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
